New Apple MacBook and iMac on way within weeks
By: Alan Ng | September 16, 2009 | 1 CommentIt has been reported that Apple are planning to release new versions of their iMac and Macbook models ‘within the next few weeks’, according to research firm Wedge Partners.
As reported from MacRumors, the iMac will benefit from a ‘significant redesign’, while the MacBoook update is expected to be a minor affair, with only limited design enhancements.
Even more interesting, both models are expected to be released with lower price tags, in a move which will see them compete directly with Windows 7 equipped systems.
It is also quite interesting that Apple made no mention of this at their recent Media Event, so we’ll have to wait and see if we hear more on this.
