Motorola DEXT: UK Release On Orange

Details have recently emerged on Pocket-Lint regarding the Motorola DEXT (known as the CLIQ in the US) handset and when it will be launching in the UK, it is thought that the UK carrier Orange will be launching the handset in October.

The DEXT/CLIQ will be Motorola’s first Android handset and will be Orange’s second Android handset following the HTC Hero. The handset will be free of charge for customers who sign up to a two-year contract at around £35 per month.

No official date has been confirmed, however Motorola and Orange are both saying it should be available in “early October”, we recently heard that T-Mobile (presumably USA) may be offering the handset to. You can see a hands-on video here showing the DEXT/CLIQ or find out more on Pocket-Lint.
