MiFi Review: Verizon Wireless vs. Sprint

A full detailed look into Verizon and Sprint’s MiFi devices has recently been posted on BoyGeniusReport, the article features a lot of photos and details on how to configure your MiFi access point etc.

For those of you who don t know a MiFi access point allows you to share “mobile broadband” to more than one device, so in affect the MiFi access point receives the Internet connection (from Sprint/Verizon) and then broadcasts it wirelessly to multiple devices.

According to the article both devices are extremely similar, therefore none of the devices really out performs the other, therefore it really comes down to personal preference and coverage, either way you cant really go wrong, however Verizon’s coverage is better.

Currently both MiFi devices will set you back $99 as part of a two-year data plan, to find out more check out BoyGeniusReport’s article here.

I’ve been reading a lot of posts from people regarding Verizon Wireless VS Sprint…I have been contemplating switching to Sprint.I hav e found that Sprint has a calling plan that I like were as with verizon you cannot apply it to a Blackberry…..y I have no idea???I ve been searching wanting to find out about sound & call quality….so far a lot of people tell me that they likve sprint that its ok…but one thing that puzzles me is I heard that if you are a couple of days late or ev en if you are so much as a nickle short they will cut your service…this is insane!!!I know that sometimes for instance the bill let’s say is due on a thursday and you don’t get paid untill Sat.they’ll cut your service untill they receive payment?..V erizon on the other hand will be a little leinient and let you get away with paying a couple of days later….I still haven’t decided what to do untill then ill stick with what I have
