Explained: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Juggernaut Code

I was told you had to enter the recept number by the Manager of my local Gamestop. He told me that he wasn’t even sure that was correct because they themselves were only told, and I quote “Give thim this (VIP card) and tell them to enter the recept info on the website.” How can you be expected to know what to do if the Gamestop people don’t even know what to do? So what do I do when I get home? I enter the FEEDBACK number at the bottom of the recept….and it DOES accept this as a valid number…but only because you could put “1″ in the slot and it would accept it as a valid answer. So…to recap…You can put in the wrong number because you AN Gamestop have no idea what the recept number is……nice. If I can’t get my juggernaut because of faulty Gamestop personell giving me half-assed info…….I’ll be pissed. It’s been 22 hours sence I put in my info on the website…..and I have YET to get anything e-mailed to me…….5 bucks says this is another non-working scam…just like the Godfather 2 guy.

I called the customer service line last night and waited on hold for a while, but was able to get a code. I registered about a week ago and got nothing via e-mail. The woman I spoke to last night didn’t ask for any receipt info…just gave me a code. I’m sure people who didn’t pre-order may be able to get the codes as well if all reps are like the woman I spoke to last night….

i pre ordered mua2 through gamestop online and the code for juggernaunt was emailed to me it works fine

Over 24 hrs later, and still waiting.

I entered my reciept number and they emailed me the code today. I was able to get two since I had to reciepts – one for the pre-order & one for the purchase.

I filled out the web form about 2 weeks ago, never received an email like I should have with the previews I was promised, but I did receive an email Monday night, with the xbox code, even though I said I had a PS3. When I asked the guy at gamestop he told me it was an activision deal, but their website says its a gamestop deal. I emailed gamestop like I was supposed to to get the PS3 code instead but have received nothing from them so far. In the PS3 store, there’s a free patch that said something like Juggernaught compatibility patch. wtf??? it was free so I downloaded it but I don’t know if that means I have Juggernaught now or not, I can’t find him, but maybe I have to get further in the game. idk, this whole thing was stupid, I had no problems with the Arkham Asylum code at all.

What was the website you used to submit your receipt number?

I got a code, but they sent me the code for XBOX360 and not PS3. I am very certain that I hit PS3, but when I tried to re-do the application for the code it would not let me because I had already signed in with that email previously. My question is where do I put in this code for PS3, and will it even work because it gave me XBOX360 instructions? Not only that, how do I go about re-submitting the application if it is necessary. I just tried there customer service support, and that was terrible. If it doesn\’t understand you, it will just say \”Sorry for the confusion, goodbye.\” There is no human you can talk to. Goodluck asking for \”Customer Support Representative\” because from my experience it results in automatic hang-up.

Anyone getting excited for Sgt. Johnson in ODST with preorder from gamestop?

I pre-ordered the day before. You go the website on the VIP card, put in your reciept of either the pre-order or the reciept you get when they give you the game (that’s what I did). Day after it came out, (today, technically) got an email for the code.

it tells you on the right side of recipt # box (Receipt Number or Online Order Number, EXAMPLE)..filled the info and said 2 business days so todays their last day n if i dont get it im just gunna return it since i didnt open the game yet. glad i waited bc activision sucks wit organization

I made my vip account two days before it came out and then put in my reciept code when I got it, and yet inm still waiting for my code

I got my code Tuesday. I went to the XBox Live Marketplace logged in, entered my code, and I get “There is a problem with the offer associated with this code”. I talked with a Microsoft tech, and they said I can’t activate codes if there is something wrong with my credit card. Well, I didn’t think there was, but alright, maybe they had some block on me. So I go to the Xbox Marketplace and but the 500 points, just something to clear up any problems. I get 500 more points fine. I enter the code again, and I get “There is a problem with the offer associated with this code”. Seems as if other people can activate their codes, so I am not sure why my code is not working.

No juggernaut on Wii?

Unbelievable incompetence on this. I pre-ordered from GS MONTHS ago. Picked up the game the morning of release, got home to find I was e-mailed a 360 code. (I bought PS3). Called Activision, who told me it was a Gamestop problem. GS tried to tell me it was Activision’s problem. Finally, GS customer service has an automated phone msg. stating to send an e-mail to get the correct code. Here it is, over 48 hours later, and no code. I don’t know how the other poster got a code over the phone. I called them and got a rep on the phone today, who told me it would take a couple of days to get the code. I told her it had already been a couple of days, and no code. Then she just kept repeating “they’re working on it.”

Just a thought: if a company is going to try to entice people to buy from its store by offering extra material, it better come through on that material if it wants to retain those customers.

I finally found the number to gamestop customer service. Goto gamestop.com and look in the legalize section page about contests and sweepstakes and what not. Its in the middle near the address. If you call it it says that to get the PS3 Juggernaut code you need to email the contests@gamestop.com with “Juggernaut” in the subject line AND (this is what wasn’t in the email) “PS3″ in the body. When were they gonna tell people that? I emailed them that this morning and had the code by the afternoon. What a joke. Good luck!

I dont understand the problem here. Gamestop gave me a card at the time I pre ordered MUA2. I went to the site and put the information from the card in. Now the email didnt come to me until the day the game came out. Though the code was placed in the site weeks before. I was emailed a code, I placed it into xbox live marketplace and have been trashing the shield forces with Juggernaut since. I dont know what all this talk about receipt numbers is. You get an 8×11 MUA2 card with a code that you enter on the site. Then the site emails you the code to put into marketplace.

Ok, I got the same problem, bought game for xbox360 from gamestop when i reserved it, they told me to go to a completely different site

I didn’t pre-order the game…I bought it the day it was released from Gamestop for PS3. I went to the Gamestop website and entered my receipt number and they sent me the code in an email. I entered the code on Playstation Network and downloaded Juggernaut. You just simply have to buy the game from gamestop not preorder and then go to their website so they can send it to you in an email. Worked for me.

I got my game the day it came out and I did the 5 dollar pre order but the guys at my local Gamestop gave me the run around for like 2 days because they didnt know how to get the code themselves. Finally a guy last night tells me how to do it and I’m like, “what? U guys couldnt tell me that already???” Now when I went to put my receipt in, Gamestop doesnt even have it avail anymore!! I felt like that was bad biz on their part, maybe if I wasnt busy with my life, I could have done more reseach than the Gamestop employees and found out how to do it myself. This sucks . . .

Yeah, I wasn’t given my card with the info until I picked the game up, not when I pre-ordered. The GameStop peeps didn’t even know what was going on when I asked at pre-order. This was really poorly handled. I’ve emailed the address mentioned above to try to get one, but nothing so far.

I pre-ordered as soon as you could.. picked up the game first thing tuesday morning – came home and went online to follow the instructions.

I have received NOTHING. It’s been 4 days.

At least you all were able to do something at the website. I preordered months ago, and was given the card at gamestop, only to get to the website today (first opportunity to sit down and game), to see a message stating “Sorry, we have given out all available codes!”

This means it was a complete scam seeing as a pre-order was no guarantee of receiving a juggernaut code.

It tells you ithey need a reciept number but all you need to do is type a ten digit number thats what i did i put a random number it worked

Ya!! This really sucks. I got the same problem. Pre-ordered the game, went to pick it up, entered the reciept number, told me it was invalid, emailed them, then they tole me that they ran out of codes as it was a “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE” code!!! I will never pre-order a game from them again!!!

I preordered, registered on their stupid little website, was told I’d receive my code in 2 business days. Code never shows up, now it says they are out of codes, no Juggy for me. Way to screw us over gamestop.

Ha Yea I preordered the game too and got the same “Go to this website and enter your reciept number” well I did that TWO!!! days ago and guess what STILL havent got the codes for Juggernaut. Guess I got ripped off This was just a stupid way to rip ppl off THANKS!

i went to go get my code and by the time i went to the gamestop website it said there were no more codes to give out. i don’t think its fair that there are not enough codes for pre-ordered games.

I wrote a really nice professional email to gamestop about their complete lack of customer service on this issue. Will let you know if I hear anything from them and when, if, I get access to the VIP area I will have 20 codes to give out, according to the marvel site and will be more than happy to share :]

Yeah I preordered the game. Originally went to the site and entered my game stop receipt number on the http://www.gamestop.com.mua2vip website and even registered at the game web site and didn’t get any code in my email. I even checked my spam filter and nothing. This is so lame, I really was looking froward to getting Juggernaut. What the heck!

My wife and I were a bit confused on the pre-order. We new you had to have your reciept but there was nothing specifying how to get the character. When we didn’t get anything with the final purchase we thought it must have been packed in with the game. After a few days of play, no Juggernaught. So I called the store to find out what gives and they told me I was pretty much screwed on the deal that alot of them had been to and ALOT of people were calling very upset because there is no mention of a limit to these codes.

Gamestop completely screwed the pooch on this one. I ordered very early and when I finally got my game the website was already shut down. I called customer service and they claimed that I was out of luck. I called again and they said I needed the original pre-order receipt which I didn’t bother to save. After arguring with the customer service person for 30 minutes, I started asking for the supervisor. He refused to give me the supervisor, another 10 minutes go by and finally he offers to look up the information for me which I told me he couldn’t do at the beginning of the call. After that, he claimed I would get an email in 2 days. We’ll see. If I don’t get my code, Gamestop is going to get a brick through the window.

Although Gamestop set up a lame system, it is all of the people out there who didn’t pre-order and scamed the system that blew it for everyone else who pre-ordered.

That was the dumbest business move they could have ever made i got the game today and ask for the code and the cash register guy said no i even offered to pay more money that is so0 Dumbbbbbb ughhh and u cant even buy him as a add on on the ps3 network u could only buy the online add which totally sicks bro they have better make and update later on for people who didnt know about the pre-order because who wouldn’t put a 5 dollar pre-order down to get and extra character SMH!!

Getting Johnson by preordering ODST wasn’t through gamestop, its just a halo promo, even walmart had it going on, and it works completely fine had no probs like with Juggy

I pre-ordered from Amazon for wii. Does this mean I don’t get a Juggernaut code? Was it only for PS3 and X-Box?

I pre-ordered many weeks in advance, but when going to the website was told “no more available”, now GS says they won’t give one. A complete mess, and I won’t stand for it. Will be returning the game and getting a refund, as the bonus material was a condition of the pre-order. I’m thinking there is a class action suit forming up already on this one.

12-10-2009 well i went into my local game stop in western NC and seen that they had a code for the Juggernaut Code i had pre ordered it and paid for it in full not just the $5 to reserve it but went in to get it and went in the day after the release and gave them my receipt they went to get it they handed it to me and i said how do i get the code and well they gave me a hassle about the code i finally said give me my money back had to hassle with them about for 10 mins i started getting really pissed by this point and said ether give me my money or i will call the BBB on you guys and i want names and phone #’s to your home office and they gave me my $. my wife got me the game ( i think ) as a Christmas present but not from game stop. we have had trouble with them before and this was the third and final straw we wont be back!!!
