Electric cars at Frankfurt Auto Show

These days at auto shows we are beginning to see more and more electric cars on display, this has also been the case at the Frankfurt auto show, this is no surprise really as cars these days are becoming more and more economical and environmentally friendly.

At the Frankfurt auto show a whole range of concept cars were on show from many different manufacturers, the manufacturers included Audi, Ford, Peugeot, Renault and Volkswagen, there were also two entrants manufactured by Tesla.

Out of the two entrants from Tesla one of these is the only current production electric car shown at the show, this is the Roadster which is tuned by Brabus, another car from Tesla is the Model S which is expected to begin production in 2011.
