2010: The Year of Tablet PCs

Lately there have been a lot of reports suggesting that 2010 will be the “year of the tablet computer”, this also may be due to the rumors of an Apple Tablet and also the way that touch-screen devices how recently developed.

A team of market researchers representing DisplaySearch seem to think that sales for touch-screen devices will be growing from this years impressive $3.5 billion to more than $6 billion by the year 2012, exactly what portion of this will be due to tablet PC’s is unknown.
