Palm Pixi Processor Specs: More Details
By: Alan Ng | September 15, 2009
Good news for all of you looking to pick up the compact Palm Pixi now, as we have some detailed information on the Pixi’s processor, as well as all the other features on top of that.
As reported from PalmInfoCenter, one of the talking points of the upcoming Pixi will be its Qualcomm MSM7627 chipset. Well now, Qualcomm have released a full spec list for their processor for us to enjoy, giving us all sorts of info on just what the Pixi will be able to handle.
The Pixi will be able to support hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, thanks to an OpenGL 2.0-supporting 200MHz GPU. What that means is that you’ll be able to run some pretty decent games on your Pixi, as well as handle demanding multimedia tasks too.
It may be a lot smaller and lighter than the Palm Pre, but don’t take the Pixi lightly, as it’s looking like a very capable handset for all your day-to-day duties.
Full specs in the link above. Let us know your thoughts on the Pixi.

I’ve had had Palm phones for ever and if the Pixi had WiFi, I’d trade it for my Centro (which I love), right away. Instead I’ll wait.
