Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Firmware Update: 31.0.008

Nokia have recently released a new firmware update for the popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic handset, the firmware has now reached version 31.0.008, the update isn’t hugely extensive however does offer a few new changes.

Some of the new features include Ovi Maps 3.1 and also an updated version of the Ovi Store client (now version 1.05), the update also frees up more RAM which should allow the handset to perform slightly faster.

As with any firmware update make sure you back up your personal data and make sure you your handset has plenty of charge, to receive the update either type *#0000# and then choose “Check for updates to update over-the-air, alternatively you can use Nokia Software Updater, for more details check out IntoMobile.
