Major new HTC Hero firmware released

It has been reported that a major firmware update to the HTC Hero is now starting to roll out to owners. The version now stands at 2.73.405.5 and brings much faster performance speeds amongst other things.

As reported from Engadget, the update has been confirmed as available for users in Denmark, with the rest of Europe expected to follow throughout the week.

As you will probably know, the phone isn’t available in the US yet, as Sprint are planning to release the phone early October.
