Windows 7 New Aero Features: How to enable?
By: Jamie Pert | September 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentRecently Windows7News posted quite a useful article for Windows 7 users, this article looked into its Aero features and how you can enable them if they have not already been enabled, there is also a video which also introduces you to some of the new Aero features, this video can be seen at the end of this post.
One thing to remember is that to enable these features you need to be running pretty descent hardware, otherwise your computer may come to a stand still when these visualizations and effects run.
If you would like to enable some of the Aero effects firstly ensure that you have your graphics card drivers installed, and then simply got to the Control Panel, select System and Security and choose System, on the left hand list you should see Advanced System Settings choose this, under performance choose settings, here you will see tick boxes for different effects and visualizations, you can either choose manually or let windows choose for you.
Personally the features I like are Aero Peek and also animations in the taskbar and start menu, for more details check out Windows7News.
