Palm Pre UK Release Date Still Unchanged

There have been a few rumors circulating suggesting that we may see the Palm Pre launch in the UK this week, however according to a recent report on Telegraph.co.uk it seems that these rumors are unjustified and we should instead expect an October release date.

It is believed that the rumors began to emerge because the Palm Pre will make its first appearance in the UK this week at Playbite, however a statement made by a Palm spokesman has squashed the early release date rumor.

The exact UK release date is expected to be October 30th, the UK carrier O2 will hold exclusivity for the popular handset (O2 also hold exclusivity for the Apple iPhone). For more details check out Telegraph.co.uk‘s article.
