Microsoft: In-place upgrades, Windows Vista to 7 may take 20 hours

Microsoft have revealed that some of the in-place upgrades between Windows Vista and the upcoming Windows 7, may take over 20 hours to complete fully.

As reported from Computer World, the fastest upgrade between Windows Vista and 7 is said to be around 1 hour, 24 minutes, according to one of the members from Microsoft’s Windows Deployment team.

For those of you looking for a clean install - not looking to save any data or applications, will be pleased to know that the upgrade time for this is around 27-46 minutes only.
