Looks as if the PS3 Slim release in Japan has boosted overall PS3 sales in those shores too, as there has been a reported 14,000 percent increase in hardware sales compared to last week’s PS3 sales.
That is according to TwitchPlay, who have stated the exact figure to be 14,494.52%. That is a pretty big statistic to report, as we definitely didn’t think the Japanese PS3 Slim release would have ‘that’ much of an impact, but we stand corrected.
TwitchPlay also point out that Sony managed to shift 150,743 consoles in Japan, which saw the PS3 claim top spot in the hardware charts.

It’s ok Alan, you and the rest of the Sony lynch mob can get back on the bandwagon soon I’m sure. There’s always places to nitpick on Sony over, right?
