iPhone 3.1 OS Update: Anti-phishing defense inconsistent
By: Alan Ng | September 14, 2009 | 1 CommentIt has been reported that the iPhone 3.1 OS Update – released especially for its new security meaures, is actually pretty inconsistent, especially Apple’s new anti-phishing defense.
That’s according to this article from Computer World, who have stated that some users have been receiving warnings on their screens about dangerous links.
That’s not all either as users are still able to surf illegal websites on their iPhones, so much for added security eh Apple?
CW have even quoted security experts who have said Apple’s new 3.1 OS is ‘worse’ than having no defence at all.
