
Deutsche Telekom’s bid for Sprint Nextel
By: Alan Ng | September 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been revealed that Deutsche Telekom’s stock has fallen by 1.3 percent, over speculation that the Germany company is planning a bid to buyout rivals Sprint Nextel.
Its no secret that Sprint have been struggling over the last year, so it looks like Deutsche Telekom are looking to take advantage and move in for the kill.
According to this Reuters report, if the move does go head, it will see Deutsche Telekom move ahead of AT&T and Verizon to claim top spot as the market leader – what a scalp that would be for the company.
At the moment, Deutsche Telekom are choosing not to comment on the speculation, but we’ll make sure you’ll be the first ones to know when they do.
