Apple TV 160GB Price Drop: 40GB discontinued
By: Jamie Pert | September 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentYou may have read our posts towards the beginning of the month regarding Apple’s changes to their Apple TV range, it was first reported by us on September 2nd that the 40GB Apple TV will soon be discontinued (see here), however the following day contradicting statements were made which squashed these rumors (see here).
It now seems that Apple are starting to phase out their 40GB models, and in-turn reducing the price of their 160GB models, currently the 40GB model is no longer available in the US, and the 160GB model will set you back $229.00, however on the UK site the 40GB model is still available for £195.00 and the 160GB model will set you back £263.00.
My advice to anyone in the UK interested in purchasing Apple TV would be to wait as its very likely that we will see a change made to their UK products soon, as we find out more information we will keep you updated, check out MacRumors for more details.
