
Madden Curse Strikes Again: This Time Troy Polamalu
By: Alan Ng | September 11, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been revealed that the infamous Madden Curse has once again influenced the start of this years NFL season. One half of the Madden NFL 10 cover stars, Troy Polamalu has sustained a knee injury and will now be out for 3-6 weeks.
As reported from Perezstart, Troy Polamalu was trying to recover a blocked field goal, during the first half when the Tennessee Titans tight end Alge Crumpler fell awkwardly on Polamalu’s left knee.
It is quite remarkable how the Madden Curse still manages to affect the cover athletes of each game, year after year. I mean, how do you explain it?
