Facebook vs. MySpace: Mobile apps help FB

Since its release Facebook has had its ups and downs, however over the last year or so the popularity of the site has grown and grown, this growth has seen them overtake MySpace, this is said to be mainly the result of the impact Facebook Connect had.
Apart from this another thing that has had a huge impact on Facebook is mobile applications, especially those developed for iPhone and BlackBerry handsets, these apps allow users to quickly and easily use the service from almost any location.
