Chevrolet and GM’s aggressive marketing campaign

It has been revealed that Chevrolet and General Motors are planning an aggressive marketing campaign, in an attempt to convince American consumers that their products are as good as their rivals.

As reported from Reuters, the campaign is also a plan to stop consumers choosing the ‘import’ option, from the likes of Honda and Toyota, in favor of siding with Chevrolet and General Motors.

The news comes after it was revealed that GM’s share of the American auto market is now down to just 19 percent (from 35 percent in 1980), as the company continues to struggle following the bankruptcy filings a few months ago.

They are now looking to the future now, as this new marketing campaign will feature the slogan, “May the best car win,”. Full article over at Reuters.
