PSP Firmware v6.00: Live Download Now

Some news for PSP owners out there now, as we can confirm to you that PSP Firmware v6.00 is now available to download and install. The update isn’t nothing major though, so it’s not really worth getting excited about.

Much like the PS3 Firmware 3.0 update, you should no longer expect ‘major’ updates whenever we come across a 4.0, 5.0, 6.0 version and so on. This update is no different, as the ‘biggest’ change here is the addition of a few new colors for you to customize your XMB with.

Other notable changes include the renaming of Network Update to System Update, plus there is also a Security Patch that has been put in place.
