By: Alan Ng | September 10, 2009
Motorola have just officially announced their first android-powered handset. It’s called the Motorola Cliq and the company are also using the Cliq to unveil their latest social networking service, titled MOTOBLUR.
As reported from Information Week, the Cliq is a touchscreen phone which features a slide out Full QWERTY keyboard. You’ll also get a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, video recording capabilities and a 3.5mm jack for your audio needs.
As mentioned above, it will also feature MOTOBLUR, which will combine all the information from your address book, as well as your information from social networking sites (MySpace, Twitter and Facebook), and store them in one easy to access place. The idea of the service is to be able to get your messages through to your friends, anytime, anyplace.
The Motorola Cliq is expected to be available on T-Mobile later in the year. Let us know your impressions of the phone.
