HTC Touch Pro2 on Verizon Wireless: Price Looks Good

Details are beginning to emerge regarding pricing and availability of the Verizon Wireless HTC Touch Pro2 handset, as of Friday you will be able to pre-order the handset, however an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.

The handset will set you back $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, this pricing is also based on a two year deal, compared to Sprints pricing this is great as Sprint are currenrlty asking for $349.99 even after a $100 mail-in rebate.

Just to recap the HTC Touch Pro2 features a 3.6 inch tilting touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, it also features a 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and a microSD slot.

Performance wise the handset shouldn’t be too sluggish, it will have a 528MHz processor, 288MB of RAM and a 512MB ROM, it will be running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional,. For full details check out Verizons official article.
