Facebook Android app released for download

A new application has recently been released for Android handsets, the application is a Facebook app and is available for free at the Android market. You can see the new Facebook application in action at the end of the post.

The application has been rumored for a while now so its no huge surprise that it is finally here, the application as you would expect allows quick and easy Facebook functionality, such as commenting and liking things in the news feed.

You can also now install a Facebook widget on your home screen, this widget allows you to browse your friends statuses and even update your own status, finally uploading photos to Facebook has been made even easier, for more details check out IntoMobile.
