Windows 7 and Vista: How To Dual Boot
By: Jamie Pert | September 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith Windows 7 soon to be released (October 22nd) many Vista users may be interested in dual booting the Operating Systems, just in-case they aren’t happy with Windows 7, well if your one of those people wanting to dual boot check out Windows7News article here.
The article covers how to dual boot with Windows 7 and Vista in quite a lot of detail, it involves partitioning your hard disk and then installing Windows 7 on the new empty partition. One thing to remember that copying data from one partition to another on the same hard disk can be extremely slow.
Personally I am currently running the Windows 7 RC which is active until approximately March 2010, I feel that Windows 7 is so much better than Windows Vista that a dual boot is not necessary, but I can understand people concerns especially with the grief which was associated for users moving from XP to Vista.
