Where is the Apple Tablet and iPod Touch Camera?

With the Apple Event now finished it has left many people asking the question, Where is the Apple Tablet and iPod Touch Camera? If you were to ask me what are my dead certain predictions for the Apple Event the Apple Tablet would have been one, and a new iPod Touch with a camera would have been another.
Over the last month or so we have heard a huge amount regarding a possible Apple Tablet, we have even heard stories of Apple purchasing huge quantities off touchscreen displays, however it now seems that these were all rumors.
The iPod Touch with a camera is the other huge disappointment, over the last few months we have also heard lots regarding this, we have seen cases for the new iPod Touch’s and also seen patent information, however at least we did get an iPod Nano with a camera
Do you think Apple will reveal an Apple Tablet or iPod Touch with a camera in the near future?

I have been putting off my purchase of a touch, waiting for them to add the camera and other goodies. Now I have to decide whether to go for it anyway, or consider a plan b.
ive decided to get the nano, since the camera was not released for the ipod touch. the nano is smaller and it has an FM radio
yeah thats diapointing…. and im confused and diapointed as well at the fact that the nano camera cant take pics just video ? lol
I’ve been saving for an iPod touch if it came out with a camera. No camera - no touch - looks like I will save the money.
I have decided to WAIT for the tablet and touch with the video/camera. Disappointing Sept release, and not willing to spend 500 for an ATT early iphone/video upgrade to a 32gb 3gs
