
New Apple iPod Prices Before Event 9/9/09
By: Alan Ng | September 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been confirmed at an Apple company event held before their scheduled media event, that Apple have revealed price cuts for their existing line of iPods. Price cuts affect the iPod classic, iPod Nano and iPod Touch models.
According to the WSJ, Apple have cut the price of their 120GB iPod classic device to $229 from $249, meaning that rumors of Apple discontinuing the classic may prove to be false.
Meanwhile, the 16GB iPod touch is reduced to $249 from $299, and also the 8GB version gets a cut from $229 to $189. Lastly but not least, the iPod Nano is also receiving some price cut goodness, as you’ll now be able to pick up the 16GB version for $149, down from $189, and the 8GB version is also reduced from $149 to $129.
