iTunes 9 introduced at Apple 2009 Event

Apple have just announced and unveiled iTunes 9 to the world, at their ongoing Media Event in San Francisco. Big features includes a brand new interface, Genius Databases, App management, introduction of iTunes LP and much more.
iTunes 9 will come with improved store navigation for easier viewing and full window support as opposed to the sidebar. Another feature is Genius mixes, giving you the ability to create playlists, which will work like a radio station.
Another huge feature to iTunes 9 is iPhone/Touch App management, which will let you drag and drop to your hearts content. You’ll also be able to edit your current homepage on either your iPhone or iPod Touch, direct from the iTunes 9 software.
iTunes LP intends to give customers an extra incentive to those who choose to purchase a full album, as opposed to a single. These include extra things like, lyrics, videos photos and maybe even commentaries.
We heard about the social feature rumors coming to iTunes 9, and it appears they were true as well. iTunes 9 will allow you to send items from the iTunes Store as gifts, then publish them on websites such as Facebook and Twitter.
We’ll let you know more details on iTunes 9 shortly. Let us know your reaction to the new features.
