Following on from the announcements of the new iPhone 3.1.1 and iPod Touch OS, we can now confirm that they are both available to download and enjoy now, mostly adding functionality to all the announcements that we heard direct from Apple’s keynote.
As reported from Engadget, the update states bug fixes and improvements (which we’ll definately be analysing in detail), support for iTunes 9, support for the new ‘Genius’ features and much more.
One of the highlights of the new update, will include the ability to manage all your iPhone/Touch apps as well as edit your homepage, using the iTunes software.
Expect a detailed look at the new iPhone 3.1.1 OS soon.

Well, I highly suggest if you have an iPod Touch and it’s jailbroken, do not upgrade yet. You can not undo the change, and lose all jailbroken apps, and the ability to jailbreak and restore back to 3.0. I know, I’ve been working on this for the past 24 hours. Just wait for the Dev Team to come up with something. If anyone knows how to contact them personally, I’d love to hear from them as I’m going absolutely insane with out my jailbroken ipod and all it’s glorious applications.
