Apple Announcement Today: Will Apple kill the Flip?

If you have been following the Apple announcements today then you would have seen a clear plan by Apple on a number of fronts. This includes expanding its gaming platform within the iPod/iPhone devices, which takes aim at Sony and Nintendo portable gaming.

Mix that with Apple now taking on the Flip video camera, thanks to a new iPod Nano with built-in video camera. Apple wants to keep expanding into other markets, which means eating into other company’s sales.
