Samsung I8910 Omnia HD: Firmware Update
By: Jamie Pert | September 8, 2009
A new firmware update for Samsung’s I8910 Omnia HD handset has now been released, the version (I8910XEII1) is said to feature a lot of new improvements, according to IntoMobile’s article the firmware upgrade is only currently available in Hong Kong and Russia.
Some of the new features that this firmware update include are the 3D TaskSwitcher, one finger zoom, an improved QWERTY keyboard, there are also a few updated applications and codecs, for more information check out IntoMobile’s article here.
I doubt it will be too long until we see this firmware update feature in other parts of the world, however I would recommend waiting to hear some feedback before installing the update.
If you do decide to install the update as we always say make sure you have enough battery life and that you back up your personal data.
