HTC Tattoo Announced

HTC have recently announced another Android handset the handset is the HTC Tattoo (aka HTC Click). Many believe this ultra-affordable handset will put real pressure on manufacturers such as Motorola who are beginning to release Android handsets.

For an ultra-affordable handset the specifications are still quite impressive, it has a 528Mhz processor, 512MB RAM and 256MB so its doubtful that the Android OS will be sluggish.

Other hardware includes a 2.8 inch touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone hack, a microSD memory card slot and WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, check out this link for more information.

Pricing and availability for the handset is still not completely confirmed, however many believe that we should see the handset sometime in October, perhaps for free on some contracts, for more details check out BoyGeniusReport’s article which also includes some official press photos.
