Gran Turismo 5 PS3: UK release date confirmed

We have some more news to bring you now, regarding the release date for Gran Turismo 5. So far, all we have heard is that the game will release sometime in Q4, but now one source has confirmed a release date over in UK.
That’s according to PSBeyond, who have claimed that the game will release on September 25th. They say that they have acquired their news from a very reliable source inside Sony.
If the date turns out to be true, then it could be very interesting, considering that this year’s Tokyo Game Show kicks off on September 24th.
Maybe they will shed some light on the GT5 PS3 Slim SKU we told you about yesterday too. Let us know your thoughts on the news.

So they reckon the game is coming out in basically 2 weeks, but Sony haven’t even announced a release date yet? That Sony are just going to try and sneak this game into the shops and hope nobody notices? I call bullsh*t. If anybody actually thinks a game this big wouldn’t be preceded by a massive pre-launch hype campaign from Sony is kidding themself.
I suspect that what may happen at TGS on Sept 24/25 is that Sony will announce a release date, and that date will (hopefully) be before xmas. But no way is the game itself coming that soon.
