Wii and DS Outsold 3 to 1 by Sony PS3

We have some UK sales figures to report to you now, for the newly released PS3 Slim console. It was released 1st September and reports are suggesting that the Slim is currently outselling the Nintendo Wii and DS by 3 to 1.

That’s according to this report from GameZine, who have claimed that sales of the PS3 have risen by 999% in the UK. Sales of the Xbox 360 are also up too, by a good 29 percent from last week, when sales were up 43 percent then too.

GameZine also reports that PS3 software sales are also on the up, but still remain in third place behind the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360.
