Sony ZX5: Slim LED-backlit LCD with Wi-Fi

Sony’s new ZX5 series of Bravia LCD’s are expected to be released in Japan in November this year, you can see a promotional video showing the LCD’s at the end of the post.

There are currently two different versions of the ZX5 series that we know about, one of these has a 46 inch diagonal the other has a 52 inch diagonal,as you would expect the ZX5′s have full 1080p HD video support. To keep a minimalistic look the LCD TV’s also support wireless video technology.

As for pricing and a US release we have not heard anything yet, however I would expect perhaps a December date, as we find out more we will keep you updated, for more details check out Engadget.
