Future of webOS: Remote application removal and LED notifications

Good news for Palm Pre owners, as a future update to the webOS platform will include changes such as LED notifications and remote application removal.

As reported from BGR, new features are being revealed as the days go on, ever since details of webOS 1.2 was leaked recently. Aside from the two mentioned above, other features include a new “select all” option in the edit menu and improved browser functionality.

Then there is also support for paid applications and ”find-as-you-type” support in email. We’ll give you detailed info on LED notifications and Remote application removal when we hear more. Who knows, we could even uncover yet more features in webOS 1.2 during the week.
