Firefox 3.5.3 and 3.0.14 Security Updates: Flash Fix
By: Alan Ng | September 7, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been revealed that the upcoming update for Mozilla Firefox, will automatically check for outdated versions of Flash, in an attempt to combat the ‘hacked’ version of Flash Player, which has been exploiting a lot of computer systems lately.
As reported from PC World, the Firefox 3.5.3 and 3.0.14 security updates are scheduled to go live tomorrow, which will give you even greater protection when browsing the web.
PC World states that after the update has been installed, you will then be prompted with a “You should update Adobe Flash right now,” (should you need to upgrade) message.
You’ll then be able to view a link to the website, where you’ll be able to download the update for the latest version.
So thats a heads up for you, if you get the message tomorrow and start getting worried. Full details of the update over at PC World.
