Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare: New Patch Outrage
By: Alan Ng | September 7, 2009 | 4 CommentsFollowing on from the recent patch update to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it has been reported that Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers have been left feeling angry and disappointed with the end result.
As reported from BLPGaming, the patch update was meant to resolve glitching and weapon hacking / modding, that has been affecting multiplayer gameplay for the past few months.
While, Infinity Ward did address the hacking / modding issues, the end result isn’t what gamers had expected. Hackers are no longer able to fire semi-automatic weapons at the rate of a fully automatic weapon, which is good right?
Well not entirely, as the patch has now put a time limit between each shot, meaning that ‘legit’ gamers can no longer fire bullets from semi-automatic weapons, at the rate of their fingers, prompting wide anger towards Infinity Ward.
Classic case of ”You’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t”, don’t you think? What are your opinions of the new COD4 patch?
