Apple App Store: Play Commodore 64 Games With Emulator

Good news for Retro-loving iPhone owners out there, as Apple has ‘finally’ approved a Commodore 64 emulator for the device. We say finally, as the app was previously rejected by Apple, over violations towards the Apple SDK.

As reported from MacRumors, the app is called C64 and is now available to download on the App store. However, it is not the exact same version that was rejected by Apple, as the company requested the removal of the ”Commodore BASIC interpreter” which allows running arbitrary code, according to MacRumors.

The app comes bundled with 5 classic games in the way of Dragons Den, Le Mans, Jupiter Lander, Arctic Shipwreck and Jack Attack. There is a video of the app in action over at MacRumors, go watch it.

Are you going to be downloading this? Old school Bruce Lee people, you have to surely?
