Square: DLC on the way for future Final Fantasy games
By: Alan Ng | September 6, 2009 | Leave a CommentSquare-Enix have revealed that that the company are considering releasing DLC for future Final Fantasy titles, but there are no plans for extra content for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII, which will be released in Japan on PS3 before the end of the year.
Square’s Yoshi Kitase and Motomu Toriyama made the comments to VG247, during GamesCom 2009. Both of them also said that they are listening to their fans in Europe and North America, and are aware that DLC content is something that everyone wants.
If DLC does happen to be released along the way for Final Fantasy XIII, you can expect it to be item-or enemy based, and not a major update that would tie into the story.
