Cash for Kitchen Clunkers: Rebates on appliances in Florida

Well we’re sure you heard of ‘Cash for Clunkers‘ over the last few months, but there now looks to be another government initiative which is set to sweep the nation. Its called ‘ Cash for Kitchen Clunkers’ and is set to help you save money on those much needed kitchen appliances.

As reported from Abcactionnews, consumers are now searching more than ever for ‘energy efficient’ appliances as they look to cut down on their bills at the end of the month.

The federal government are set to get involved as they will be offering millions of dollars in rebates to those customers who opt to buy an appliance with the energy star rating.

It has been reported that Florida has been given $17.5 million, but it is still undecided on how to distribute the money properly. There has now been a 15th October deadline put in place, in which details must be finalised.
