PS3′s God of War Collection will be region free

Sony has confirmed that the upcoming God of War Collection, will be region-free, putting rumors to rest that it would be locked to certain regions. The pack contains God of War I and II and is due to be released in America before Christmas.

Sony confirmed the news to VG247, but the downside is that the European version of the Collection will not be released until early 2010. The U.S version however will contain 720p remakes of both games and will even have support for Trophies.

We say its time to start thinking about importing again eh. Bit unfair that the U.S gets all the fun, while Europeans are left twiddling their thumbs.
