Halo 3 ODST: Is it the best yet?

If you are looking forward to the release of Halo 3: ODST on September 22nd, we have an article for you to check out, which explains why Halo 3 ODST will be the best Halo game in the franchise so far.
GameHeadzOnline have written a detailed preview of the game, saying that Halo 3 will be great for Halo veterans, as well as welcome newcomers into the Halo Universe.
At the moment, many feel that Halo: Combat Evolved is the best game to date in the series - mainly due to the excellent single player campaign it offered.
As for ODST, fans will be delighted to see Bungie back at the helm, as the article states that Bungie have added a much richer color palette, making the game look more on par with current crop of high-end Xbox 360 games.

I think it will be the best to date.
The only thing needed is Firefight in Matchmaking. They (Bungie) claimed it would take another six months to add this. However, in 7 to 8 months they claim it will be available through an XBox Live game update.
The campaign might even top Combat Evolved, but only if it’s longer than Halo 3. Halo 3 was too short in my opinion. However, it still has a few loose ends from Halo 2 that it can clear up.
are your sure they said that a matchmaking updat would be available through a patch? where did you hear this and when?
