AT&T Sets release for iPhone MMS

AT&T Sets release for iPhone MMS

By: Alan Ng | September 4, 2009 | 5 Comments

Good news for all iPhone customers in the U.S, as we finally have a release date for the long overdue MMS update. AT&T have finally gotten their act together and have set a date for the software update.

As reported from BGR, MMS for AT&T customers will be going live via a software update on September 25th. It will now mean you get the feature you have been waiting for, for months and a feature that the rest of the world has had since the iPhone 3.0 OS update.

Still, we shouldn’t be too hard on AT&T, they obviously had their reasons for not giving us MMS capabilities sooner. Let us know what you think of the news.

The things going on behind the scenes on this one are rediculous. Other much less sophisticated phones could send MMS in the dark ages, come on Apple, come on AT&T. Scumbags. You’re already charging us out the ass for this phone. You guys are like the government and taxes. Just looking for another penny or what?

Here’s what appears to be another moron:

“Still, we shouldn’t be too hard on AT&T, they obviously had their reasons for not giving us MMS capabilities sooner. Let us know what you think of the news.”

I’ll tell you what I think, do you work for AT&T? We shouldn’t be too hard… sissy, or idiot? You be the judge.

I say SUE! It’s laughable that they stated over and over and over and over again that it would be before the end of summer, or at the end of summer, and when you call and asked Customer Service(i know, they don’t know much either) they would tell you that it would be on or before September 21st. To me, September 25th is the beginning of Fall, not the end of Summer….and why advertise something thats not correct…anyone else that would do that would be liable for false advertisement….so shouldn’t they be?

Honestly it’s like 4 days, but its the fact that they told people, and printed information that stated Late Summer…..not Early Fall….just saying….
