Sony PS3 3D Gaming: Gran Turismo 5 at IFA 2009

Buzz This

We have been hearing a lot about Sony’s 3D technology lately haven’t we? Well, we have more news to report to you now, as Sony have confirmed that Gran Turismo 5 and Motorstorm Pacific are playable in 3D at this IFA press event.

As reported from VideoGamesZone, games will be able to play the game in 3D, using Sony’s special shutter glasses. Sony themselves showed off the two games, using a special digital-cinema and RealID polarization technique and not just using their Bravia sets.

If you happen to be at the event in Berlin, you’ll be able to get your own taste of 3D GT5 action, oh how we wish we were there.

More details over at VideoGamesZone here, bear in mind though that the information has been translated from German.

Looking forward to everything that 3D has to offer, especially as I have an Optoma projector that has been promised a free 3D firmware update.

    Can’t wait!
