Well, we are hearing more and more reports that the iPhone 3.1 OS update will be making its way to AT&T customers this month. We have a recap of all the news we’ve gathered so far, just in case you’ve missed it.
Firstly, we had the releases of the betas for the iPhone 3.1 OS update. Beta one was released to fix up some of the bugs that were found in 3.0, while beta 2 was released to developers, disabling the tethering hacks that users had been able to enable.
Next, we heard about the possibility of augmented reality apps in 3.1, which you can read more about in the link. Finally, beta 3 was released, which was expected to be the last one before the final release, although details on what was included in beta 3 were very sparse.
Then that brings us up to date, as our previous article on Monday (1st September) confirmed that iPhone 3.1 OS is on its way to AT&T customers sometime this month.
Take a look back at our previous news and let us know what you want to see in the 3.1 update.

I don’t notice any difference with 3.1 on my 3GS. I’m still running 3.0 on the 3G and they seem very comparable.
