By: Alan Ng | September 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have some information to report to you now, regarding the Multination Port on the PS3 Slim console, which many of you have been talking about lately. Turns out, that it is nothing special other than a plain old AV out with a fancy name.
That’s according to TechUnion, who decided to get to the bottom of the mystery. They had mentioned an article over at iFIXIT (which we already reported on here) which had stripped the PS3 down and had labelled that port as your ‘bog standard’ AV out.
So to those of you who were thinking this was a ‘special’ port, intended for a ‘special’ purpose in the future, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but its not.
