No Apple TV Update: According to ‘reliable sources’

According to a recent report on MacRumors it seems that yesterdays report on an updated Apple TV is not true, yesterday following extended shipping times for Apple’s 40GB Apple TV many people thought that this meaner that perhaps it was the end of the line for that particular model.

MacRumors sourced the news from TheLoop, and TheLoop state that ‘very reliable sources’ have informed them that no news version of the Apple TV will be revealed at Apple upcoming media event.

The fact that the 40GB Apple TV is two years old really backed up the initial reports of a new Apple TV, there is still a possibility that we will see any contradicting reports over the next few days, it all depends how reliable these reliable sources are. For more details check out MacRumors article and TheLoops article.
