PS3 Firmware v3.0: Minor or Major Update?

We have yet more feedback for you to check out now, regarding the latest update to the PS3 console. On 1st September, the PS3 along with the Slim was upgraded to v.3.0, but many of you have been left slightly disappointed with the update from Sony.

One of these reasons is that it failed to include in-game voice chat, amonst other things. You can read about that issue in our separate article here.

Other factors that you have been complaining about is that the 3.0 update was meant to be ‘the big one’, but it has yet to win over many PS3 owners, due to the fact that some of you have even reported problems, following the update.

An article over at ScrawlFX we have found, talks about the update further, by asking the question: ”What went wrong with PS3 Firmware v3.0?” Have a read of their article and let us know your views on it.

Minor - nothing exciting what so ever. Biggest change appears to be the remedial system font. BBC iPlayer needs work but could be promising.
