Handsets running Windows Mobile 6.5 will now be marketed as a new brand of handsets known as Windows Phone, Windows Mobile general manager had this to say on the subject, “We know people want a phone for their whole life,” and “They just frankly want to do more. That’s why we’ve shifted.”.
Windows Mobile 6.5 is said to be a completely re-designed OS for handsets, and they will be hoping to pick up more enterprise users who are currently using BlackBerry handsets, however with Research in Motion always improving its going to be hard for Microsoft to convince customers that Windows Phone is the better way.
