People of Walmart Website Down: Popularity equals outage

Well, we recently told you all about the popularity of the ‘People of Walmart‘ networking trend, that has hit the internet recently. Having said that, the website is currently down at the moment, due to what looks to be a server crash.
Its no doubt that thousands of you are now logging onto the website to check out or even upload your own embarrasing pictures of unsuspecting customers of Walmart.
If you logon to the site now though, all you’ll see is a ”Error establishing a database connection” message. At the moment we don’t know if the reason is due to maintenance, or if the website has been pulled by Walmart.

i thought that maybe walmart was involved with the outage but i dont think that would be a smart move on there part. people of walmart makes me WANT to go to walmart in hopes i will get to see some of the crazy things/people you see on the site.
It is up at the moment for me.
